Our Group has decided to sponsor a school in the Chadiza district of Zambia. To do this we have a target of £5,879.05 to raise this year to provide the 307 children in this Primary school with a meal every day. By doing this, we are helping Mary’s Meals as a charity, to expand and reach more schools and provide more children with a daily meal. In many cases this is the ONLY meal these children will have every day. £19.15 is all it costs to feed a child for a whole school year. We thank everyone for your continuing generosity. A special thanks to the anonymous donor who so kindly left £200.00 in the Parish office for Mary’s Meals. For more information – www.marysmeals.org.uk.

During the past 5 years we have refurbished St. Lúarán’s, renovated Sacred Heart Church and cemetery, St. Johns, Slatequarry Church, cemetery and grounds, also the refurbishment of the Stables as a parish centre. One of the greatest expenses of the parish has been maintaining the Church and Convent Buildings which are presently listed buildings. To date around £150,000 has been spent to make it safe and presentable. Without your support these vital changes would not have been possible.
Thank you again for your continued support with our future projects.
